Salem Transmission Service provides excellent diagnostics and repair. My Honda CRV had started making terrible crunching noises and sounded like major repairs were in my future. Rick did some research and found a problem that was rare in Honda's but not too major. The performed the repairs, cleaning and replacing the fluids and lubricants. The transmission runs great again! I can tell you I was fearful of a huge repair and repair bill and I was really impressed that Salem Transmission Service tried the easiest and less costly repair first. Providing excellent service and not providing unnecessary services is a hallmark of an ethical and professional repair shop and Salem Transmission Service rates #1 in my opinion. I recently had my older Ford pickup transmission repaired at Salem transmission. This was my first time there. I found their level of expertise and professionalism to be excellent. They diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me an accurate estimate before doing any repair work. The repair were made quickly and the pickup works like new again. I have several other vehicles and will not hesitate to take them to Salem Transmision Service should any transmission problems arise.

Highly recommend this place! After a transmission service from a quickie oil change place, I had to have my truck towed in. Not only did they not fully service the tranny (silly me), they did not reconnect a hose properly, causing me to loose most of the fluid. Thanks to Salem Transmission, I did not have to totally replace it.
